About Me

Hello! I'm Connor Wiffen and welcome to my website. From a young age I was introduced to a wide range of storytelling when the Doctor Who revival began airing in March 2005. A series that took my four-year-old self to so many different places such as the end of the world, WW2 Britain and the then future of 2012. A damaged man with the weight of the universe on his shoulders still cracking a smile. The feelings of wonder and joy it gave me triggered something, a need to give other people the same feelings I had sitting in front of the TV as The Doctor guided me through the universe experiencing the highest of highs and the lowest of lows - if I can bring that to someone else then I can be satisfied.

I am a hardworking and skilled editor. I have recently completed my final year of studying Film Production at Salford University and am awaiting my final grade. I have always been fascinated by narratives and telling them in a creative way through the visual medium.

I have a huge passion for film from watching to critically analysing them. Finding new techniques and trying to replicate them myself. I am always learning and honing my craft. Searching for the next challenge. I am a perfectionist, delivering the highest quality of work in the most efficient amount of time with my great organisational and time-keeping skills.

Aside from enjoying creative writing at school, my main avenue for telling stories was through teaching myself editing in Vegas Pro – taking my favourite shows, combining them with music and uploading it to Youtube. Since uploading my first video in 2015 I have since gained 848 subscribers with the most popular video bringing in over 127k views. Whilst never gaining any revenue from these projects, I used them as a way of experimenting with different techniques and it quickly became a hobby. A few videos in I started to realise that I was creating a narrative with the visuals and music. Reinterpreting them in my own way.

I am wholeheartedly dedicated to every project I contribute to. Putting in the time, effort and care so I can continue to develop as an Editor. Making projects everyone involved can be proud of.
